Investigating the Common Psychological Interventions of Iranian Psychotherapists in the Treatment of Elderly Mental Disorders: Emphasizing the last three years

Increasing the elderly and their vulnerability to mental disorders increases the attention of psychiatrists for this part of society, which through psychological interventions affects their mental health, satisfaction, and quality of life. This article is a narrative. The purpose of this study was to investigate the common psychological interventions of Iranian psychotherapists in the treatment of psychiatric disorders in the elderly during the period 2015-2018. To access internal research in the elderly scientific journals, the Journal of Aging Psychology and the Quarterly Journal of the Elderly, and in the Irandoc, Magiran, SID and Noormags databases, as well as to access English research in Science Direct databases. I have been paid. In this study, most psychological interventions of Iranian psychotherapists related to the treatment of mental disorders in the elderly related to meaning therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, treatment of admission and commitment, treatment of mindfulness, treatment for life-long learning and hope-seeking are related.
